I have a thermometer reading a different temperature than my sensor. Is my sensor reading an accurate temperature?
Our sensors are precise and accurate within 2ºF and are tested against NIST Certified Sensors before being shipped out of our facilities.
A variety of circumstances might influence the temperature and humidity readings. A few examples include proximity to fans or doors and the presence of warm or cold food near the sensor. Another thing to keep in mind is that our sensors transmit data to the dashboard at 10-minute intervals, so the current temperature may be slightly different than what you are reading.
