Sometimes you may need to schedule alerts for specific timeframes, or temporarily freeze alert notifications for a set period of time. This article will explain how to set up Alert Schedules and Alert Sleep Schedules.
Alert Schedules vs Alert Sleep Schedules: What’s the Difference?
Alert Schedules and Alert Sleep Schedules serve similar purposes but differ in functionality. Here is a brief explanation of each:
- Alert Schedule: An Alert Schedule allows you to specify the days and times when you want to receive alerts. No alerts will be sent outside of the specified time frame. You can set up an Alert Schedule in the web dashboard by inputting the desired days and times.
- Alert Sleep Schedule: An Alert Sleep Schedule, on the other hand, allows you to silence alerts for a specific period. This feature is useful when you expect a temporary change in temperature or humidity levels, such as during inventory delivery or maintenance. You can set up an Alert Sleep Schedule in your mobile app by selecting the days and times when you do not want to receive alerts.
