Partner Server Outage

Description

October 20, 2025 10:00PM UTC 

[Resolved] A service disruption from our upstream provider caused increased error rates and latency across multiple AWS services. This incident impacted the GlacierGrid Server, resulting in temporary connectivity issues and delayed data updates for some devices. Our provider has resolved the root cause, and all GlacierGrid services have since returned to normal operation. We will continue to monitor the system to ensure stability.

[Investigating] We are currently experiencing a connectivity issue affecting the GlacierGrid Server. Some devices may appear offline or show delayed data updates. Our vendor is actively working to restore service, and we will provide updates as soon as the system is fully operational.

[Resolved] Our third-party vendor experienced a temporary issue with their cellular network, which affected connectivity for some gateways. The issue has been resolved, and all services are now fully operational.

[Investigating] Some SIM operations are currently impacted by upstream cellular network issues from our provider.For the most reliable performance, please connect your hub to Ethernet using your site’s modem.

[Resolved] We identified the issue causing the internal time and the gateway's time to become unsynchronized from AWS. Our team has rolled out a fix to any affected gateways, though some resist the update. We will continue to fix the update until all affected gateways are updated.

[Investigating] Our server partner, AWS randomly started sending us gateway connection statuses that kept flip-flopping between connected and disconnected every few seconds. We are working to deploy temporary fixes while we await AWS's assistance.
