To ensure we can accurately calculate your energy savings and efficiently manage your energy data, GlacierGrid partners with Arcadia for secure utility bill collection.

What is Arcadia?

Arcadia is a leading energy data platform that securely connects to your utility accounts to automatically collect and standardize your energy consumption and billing data. By partnering with Arcadia, GlacierGrid gains efficient access to the detailed information needed to calculate your energy savings and provide comprehensive energy management insights.

Why Authorize Your Utility Data?

  • Automated Bill Collection: Eliminates the need for you to manually gather and send us monthly utility invoices.
  • Faster Savings Calculations: Direct access to data means quicker processing of your energy savings.
  • Reduced Effort: A quick, one-time setup removes a recurring task from your plate.
  • Comprehensive Insights: Ensures we have all the necessary data for a complete analysis of your energy consumption.

Important Notes Before You Begin:

  • All Accounts: Please complete this process for all electricity and gas accounts connected to the sites under GlacierGrid management.
  • Supply & Delivery: If you have different providers for supply (who you buy power from) and delivery (who sends it to your property), please include both.
  • Time Required: This process typically takes approximately 1 minute per utility account to complete.

Step-by-Step: Connecting Your Utility Accounts to Arcadia

Follow these simple instructions to authorize your data collection:

  1. Open the Connect Link:
    1. Click on your personalized Connect Link received via email
    2. (If you received this article without a specific link, please contact your account manager.)
  2. Search for Your Utility Provider:
    1. In the search bar provided, type the full name of your utility provider (e.g., PG&E, National Grid, Con Edison).
    2. Select your provider from the search results.
  3. Continue to Authorization:
    1. Click the "Continue" button.
  4. Enter Your Utility Account Credentials:
    1. You will be prompted to enter the Username and Password you use to log in to your utility provider's official online portal (where you view your bills).
    2. Note: GlacierGrid does not see or store these credentials. They are securely transmitted to Arcadia.
  5. Submit and Confirm:
    1. Click "Submit."
    2. The system will attempt to connect to your utility account. This process usually takes 45 seconds or less to complete and provide confirmation.
  6. Repeat for All Accounts:
    1. If you have multiple utility accounts (for different sites, or separate electric and gas accounts at the same site), repeat steps 2-5 for each account to ensure all necessary data is collected.
