What is the initial conversation with the Customer Success Team before installation scheduling?

To kick off the implementation process, you’ll meet with a Customer Success Manager who’ll lay out each step of the process and set expectations. 

 

This is the perfect opportunity to ask questions and clarify any concerns. 

 

Following this, we will work with you to schedule a convenient installation date that aligns with your business operations, ensuring a seamless integration of our technology into your environment.

 

How is the hardware delivered to non-local customers?

We ship all the necessary hardware in advance for customers outside our immediate service area. We recommend that this equipment be stored securely in the manager's office until the installation day.

 

What happens during the installation day?

The installation process is divided into several key steps:

 

  1. Pre-Install Tests: Our technician begins by testing the HVAC system's functionality to catch any pre-existing issues. The findings are documented and shared with the on-site manager so corrective action can be taken if needed.

  2. Hardware Installation: Our technician then proceeds with the hardware installation, which is completed with minimal interruption to your business operations. In this step, equipment is also commissioned so it appears on your GlacierGrid Dashboard. 

    Note: if issues are detected in the Pre-Install Tests, the installation will proceed unless the issue renders thermostat replacement infeasible

  3. Post-installation test: Following completion, the technician replicates the same tests performed before the installation to ensure no changes to equipment function. These results are reviewed with the on-site manager for transparency.

What is the purpose of the pre-install and post-install function tests?

The purpose of the pre-install and post-install function tests is to verify the correct operation of your HVAC system before and after installing our hardware. 

 

These tests primarily evaluate the heating and cooling functions to identify any pre-existing issues that may affect the installation of GlacierGrid. 

 

Our technician documents any findings, such as a cooling stage being down or the HVAC system failing to run in heat/cool mode, and communicates these to the onsite manager for appropriate action. This process ensures our technology's seamless integration and effectiveness with your HVAC system.

 

Are there any follow-up procedures after the installation?

Yes. After installation, you will have monthly pilot success meetings with our Customer Success Team. 

 

These meetings are designed to:

  • Monitor the progress of the pilot.
  • Address any questions or concerns you may have.
  • Ensure you are fully benefiting from our smart energy solutions.
